There were not many Brazilian boys in Paris other than in the always directional Givenchy casting, but Douglas Neitzke and Thiago Santos had a strong season, booking five shows each this past week. Douglas walked for Paul Smith, Dries Van Noten, Ann Ann Demeulemeester, Juun J., and Tillmann Lauterbac, while Thiago was booked for Issey Miyake Men, Maison Martin Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto, Paul & Joe, and Ami Alexandre Mattiussi.

I’m happy for both boys, and am especially impressed that a black Brasilian can have so much success in the European runways.
