Favorite national cover of the year: Gisele photographed by Terry Richardson and art directed by Marcelo Sebá for the first anniversary issue of Harper’s Bazaar Brazil. The metallic balloons do bring to mind her Vogue UK cover shot by Testino two years ago, but in spite of that it is great to see a Brazilian magazine cover that looks happy, cool, and not over retouched. Why can’t every cover on national newsstands look like that?
