I am such a sucker for Jennifer Lopez that I am not even going to question whether or not this commercial makes any sense. Hopefully Brahma will make her dream come true and bring her to Rio for Carnival this year. We all know a sequined and feathered bodysuit wouldn’t be much of a stretch from what she normally wears anyway.

Sapucar would be the same as sambar, dance samba music at sapucai, the place where the samba school parade in Rio during carnaval. It makes sense in portuguese, it doesn’t in english BECAUSE IT’S A BRAZILIAN AD, FOR BRAZILIAN CONSUMERS. America is not the world, you know?
