They are more in love than most other couples I know, gay or straight. It actually brings a tear to my eye!

Those twins are the best thing in the new Magazine. I hope to see them more and more.
Posted by: Pedro | 02/12/2011 at 13:35
These twins light my fire. What a dream it would be to have a threesome with them.
Posted by: Lucius Vorenus | 02/12/2011 at 14:58
Yes they are beautiful – but I am an identical twin and this was disturbing to watch! It’s gross. My brother and I would never want to fondle each other. People will do the strangest things for money – and every gay man’s fantasy is have a go at twins….well how would you feel if I asked you to have sex and kiss your brother?
Posted by: Kevin | 03/12/2011 at 10:51
Fyi, a lot of what you see in the video is actually their idea and their concept. It was not what we had in mind in the first place when we booked them for the magazine, but that is where they decided to go from the very start, and they simply just took us along for the ride. We were originally just shooting the two of them for a double page because I loved the idea of having twins in the issue, which we never had before, but they managed to turn what I thought was going to be a simple double page into a ten page spread, and delivered what are probably the most talked pictures from the issue.

I have to agree with Kevin. Regardless of whether it was the twins’ idea or not the concept seems more like a perverted gay incestual fantasy than any real attempt at artistic expression and I was VERY disappointed because generally I think the site produces some top notch stuff that isn’t as sleazy. I doubt there would be a feature of a sister and brother fondling each other in such a manner.

Come on, guys. Don’t be so conservative. Be more open minded. They didn’t commit any crime.
Posted by: Lucius Vorenus | 04/12/2011 at 11:55
Exactly Lucius. They are just acting out for the camera, and I am pretty sure they knew exactly what they were doing when they went for it.
Posted by: admin | 04/12/2011 at 12:02
You don’t have to be committing a crime for something to be in poor taste. What does being open-minded have anything to do with an incest themed video? It would be one thing if there was some sort of artistic direction that they were going for but it’s clearly just two new pretty faces writhing around acting out a gay fantasy to gain attention.

I’m a big fan of this blog, but I have to say I was really disappointed in this. The fact that it was their idea isn’t the point. It’s your magazine, you could have easily said that the incest route isn’t where you wanted to go with the shoot. I am a model in the industry and I come across brasilians every day, most of whom are all too keen to take their clothes of because they know it’ll end up all over the internet and they hope it’ll get them more work. Us not wanting to see softcore incest porn doesn’t make us conservative. As John said, a fashion magazine wouldn’t make a video of a sister and brother fondling eachother in a hotel room. While Brasilians in speedos may whet some carnal appetites, it can get old and sometimes a bit desperate. Regardless, I’m still going to be a fan of this blog for a long time. I just hope we can go back to fashion.

And I got the impression from watching this that one of twins was not comfortable, he seemed to do it only as a way not to make waves. I wonder what their families and friends would think of it.
Posted by: Gaby | 05/12/2011 at 20:36
They’re consenting adults, who’s to say they can’t do this, whether it’s genuine or acting? Sure you may find it unsettling or even disgusting but I don’t think it gives you the right to judge them or condemn their actions. I applaud the magazine for pushing boundaries and making people reconsider the merit of traditional ideas.
Posted by: Clare | 06/12/2011 at 21:38
Yes, I guess the magazine can ‘push boundaries’ but since it is a magazine that is read by the public that is willing to pay for it (not to mention the videos that are on the internet for anyone to watch) then the people have a right to make all the judgments they want. The magazine is not produced solely for the benefit of the people producing it, as the producers know. And the twins opened themselves up to public criticism when they ‘decided’ (I’m still iffy if both were so willing)to put on that show in order to titillate people and make a name for themselves. They exposed themselves to the public so the publi has a right to say whatever they want, not just the positive comments. Don’t a lot of magazines like to invite commentary and criticism in order to improve themselves?
On a final note, I’m sick of all the ‘fashion’ spreads with brothers, especially twins, performing soft-core porn for gay male fantasies. I will sort of quote others here when I ask: where are all the fashion ads with model opposite sex siblings fondling each other like lovers. When is someone going to push that idea and make people consider the merit of that traditional idea? So stupid.
Posted by: Gaby | 07/12/2011 at 20:54
I can honestly say I never thought the video was going to cause this much controversy. I wasn’t trying to push boundaries here. I just wanted to give the professionals involved in the issue creative freedom, which is why we created this magazine in the first place.

Get over it. They did it and it is over with. It was interesting to watch. If you think about it humans promote incest all the time. The beef that we eat is breed by a bull that impregnates the mother and daughter and sometimes the granddaughter before being moved to another pasture, also dog breeding. And for you religious folks…God created Adam and Eve…where the hell did everyone else come from?
Posted by: Michael | 09/12/2011 at 00:08
Michael, dear, if this is a way to win an argument or at least score the final point, its an epic fail. Talking about the food people eat, (and by the way, I’m a vegetarian) is an entirely different subject. Animals do not think about complex matters like incest anyhow. And I also know that an animal impregnating his daughter and granddaughter is not typical, though it may occur. As for Adam and Eve, well, there were no people then so producing the population had to start somewhere. But as humans we have moved passed that haven’t we? And think of all the genetic problems that can occur if opposite sex children breed kids generation after generation. And people do need to have some sort of standard to separate themselves from animals right?
I do love this blog. The blog owner is a good at what he does. I’m not angry at the video, just amazed that people would be surprised that others have a problem with seeing it. I don’t mean to be hostile or offensive.

Wow – and I didn’t think my comment would start this much conversation either
.
That being said…I want to bring BACK the main issue here – as a gay man and one half of identical twins (my brother is straight), no matter who’s idea it was….you, yes you, would NEVER want to fondle your brother or sister. You simply wouldn’t – UNLESS you were looking for attention.
Well – they got it
Not sure it’s the kind of reaction they were hoping for.

I LOVE IT! They are set in a mood and acting-the way i saw it it was almost being one person and making love to yourself.
ITS ALL IN THE NAME OF ART “AMAZING”

This is fantasy! The video is classy and doesn’t cross any boundaries. It’s kinda hot!
Posted by: Esteban | 11/12/2011 at 23:45
Lighten up you uptight prudes!! Are you Catholic or something?! They’re just playing around.
Posted by: David | 12/12/2011 at 17:53
I think this was in great taste! As an artist I am very open minded and can see the beauty in this film! I think it was beautifully done! It’s not like the Peters Twins hardcore porn people! Get over it…this was beautiful and extremely artistic! And if it was hardcore porn then whatever…to each their own as long as they are in agreement that that is what they want then who are we to say otherwise? I think people just love to get in a tizzy over everything. Someone has to make a big deal out of something always. Wish people would just open their minds and see things for what they are. This is art!
Posted by: Lane | 13/12/2011 at 03:01
Yes, it is art indeed. Art designed to mimic gay male fantasies, and art done for public consumption.
Posted by: Gaby | 14/12/2011 at 11:26
Oh, and BTW, I’ve just noticed that the site didn’t have a “Video” tag?
Just a suggestion, for our ease of use, yes?
Posted by: Atra | 16/12/2011 at 02:44
Think it’s fantastic and luscious. What’s all this talk about incest anyway – doesn’t apply here. Will be a great video.

this reminds me of Do Começo ao Fim movie…
Posted by: jorge | 22/12/2011 at 04:10
Simply and completely beautiful!
Posted by: Joe | 24/12/2011 at 12:18
Gaby, what role does sexual orientation have to play here? Don’t insult me as a straight female by insinuating the concept of identical male twins is a fantasy titillating only to men.
As for the lack of brother-sister relationships in fashion, think of the aesthetics: there is no visual impact with two people who look only vaguely related. Identical twins, both male and female, are an anomaly that has been celebrated and explored in art for centuries.
However, that isn’t even the point here. Attempting to discredit the artistic merit of something based on personal morality is a cheap and lazy way to critique. Just because something offends you personally doesn’t make it “not art.”

I applaud madeinbrazil for showing an unusual but at the same time, beautiful idea. This video does not show any kind of “incest” graphic to me, in fact, i think it’s a about a brotherly love. that i think is beautiful. but of course it depends on which sides you see.
oh and did you provide e-zine for international customer? because i think it would be more practical to have it in my ipad rather than carrying magazine all around. thanks
Posted by: Leighton | 19/01/2012 at 06:22
oh come on guys, female identical twins are sexualized all the time, this is no different.
Posted by: Jordan | 10/02/2012 at 04:08
I think this is absolutely beautiful in every way <3 They are gorgeous models and the intimacy and sensuality between them was both hot and lovely!

As a strait female and photo editor I feel this video is genius. What these brothers bring to the camera is pure art and lots of controversy.
