1. Miuccia Prada called and asked for her collection back. Prada’s spring 2011 show is officially the main inspiration for next summer in Rio. Pictured above: R. Groove, Patachou, and New Order.

2. Booking a controversial international model or celebrity so that no one will focus on how uneventful your clothes are is still a big trend at the shows in Rio. Andrej Pejic and Rick Genest walked at Auslander, and Olivia Palermo opened the Coca-Cola Clothing show (yes, Coca-Cola has a clothing label, and it is shown in Rio).

3. Lea T. walked her first swimwear show ever, and killed it. From posing for the new Blue Man ad campaign to major TV appearances to debuting her breast implants on Terry’s Diary, she was literally everywhere last week.
