The Brazilian Girls Of
New York Fashion Week S/S 2015

Heading the pack of new Brazilian girls is Waleska Gorczevski, the Brazilian who booked the most shows in New York this past week (a total of twenty in case you are wondering), seen here at Narciso Rodriguez, Proenza Schouler, and Calvin Klein.

Mariana Santana, who has been booking all the right shows since she took two turns on the Prada runway a year ago, at Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, and Michael Kors.

Dani Witt, Marc By Marc Jacobs’ opener last season, now with red hair at Jason Wu, MBMJ, and Oscar de la Renta.

Amanda Wellsh, the new Brazilian girl with the most editorial work this season, at Public School, DVF, and Oscar de la Renta. A year ago she opened and closed the Gucci show as an exclusive in Milan.

And from the generation of girls that preceded the one one above: Caroline Trentini at Michael Kors (she also made an appearance at Marc Jacobs yesterday), Isabeli Fontana at DVF, and Adriana Lima at Marc Jacobs.

It would have been amazing if Gisele had also been part of the main cover, but it is impossible to complain about this epic casting and cover story, which only a photographer like Steven Meisel could accomplish nowadays.

Cannot wait to watch the video for this story and to get a copy of this issue.

Caroline Trentini Dominates
The September Issue Of Vogue

Caroline Trentini lands an impressive 16-page solo story in the September issue of Vogue shot by David Sims and styled by Grace Coddington, and is also featured in another story in the same issue shot by Annie Leibovitz and styled by Camilla Nickerson, making her the model with the most editorial pages in the magazine’s most important issue of the year. The story by Annie Leibovitz also features Raquel Zimmermann.
