For the first time ever, Way Model Management is releasing its much coveted annual calendar on a digital platform. The 2014 calendar, which was developed over the course of the last seven months and features twenty three models from the agency, features photo and video content and can already be downloaded for iPad on the Apple store. A Google Play version of the calendar will be released soon.

Nothing like Caroline Trentini and a pair of Balenciaga boots to elevate an editorial.

Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger by Max Abadian for Elle Brazil. My favorite national cover this month is the subscriber’s version featuring Jerry Hall and almost no type. It would have been great to see it available on newsstands as well. Those are by far the best covers of the magazine since Susana Barbosa took over as the new editor in chief, and they get to cash in on the fact that their cover girls is also on the cover of Love this month.
Caroline Trentini by her photographer husband Fabio Bartelt for Harper’s Bazaar Brazil. Great to see Caroline Trentini back on the cover of Bazaar Brazil. Minimalist and cool.
Lindsey Wixson by Jacques Dequeker for Vogue Brazil. Last month Vogue Brazil hit the mark with Kate Upton, but this month it just does not look good. From the styling (all in Ellus, which is the brand that flew Lindsey Wixson in for São Paulo Fashion Week last season) to the hair and make up to the art direction, it just didn’t come together quite right this time.
Shirley Mallmann by Hugo Toni for L’Officiel Brazil. Once again the magazine managed to do the impossible: turn an amazing model like Shirley Mallmann into a really bad cover. It is almost worse than the cover with Ana Beatriz Barros two months ago, and makes me wonder who at L’Officiel Paris is approving the photos and the art direction here. All that different type in bold and italic is giving me a headache.
