After a stellar first season in New York and Europe, Waleska Gorczevski walked twenty three shows in São Paulo last week. Brazilian fashion editors should start paying more attention because this girl should have been on the cover of one of the main fashion magazines this month (but then again so should Cris Herrmann).

Amanda Wellsh made her runway debut only a season ago opening and closing the Gucci fall/winter show, and this season went on to become the Brazilian model with the most bookings in Milan, walking a total of fourteen shows, including Fausto Puglisi, Gucci, Versace, Fendi, Prada, DSquared2, Emilio Pucci, Blumarine, Ermanno Scervino, Francesco Scognamiglio, Philipp Plein, Etro, Missoni, and Moschino.

After an international debut on the Dior couture show last month, and a week of solid New York bookings including Narciso Rodriguez, Proenza Schouler, Calvin Klein, and Rag & Bone, Brazilian newcomer Waleska Gorczevski closed this season in New York on a high note opening the Marc Jacobs show last night (and that was not her only opening slot this week as she also secured the first exits at Victoria Beckham and Yigal Azrouël).
Waleska Gorczevski is represented in New York by dna and in Brazil by KeeMod.
