Made In Brazil Magazine #6 Is Now
Available In New York And Brazil

Wanted to take the time today to thank everyone who already picked up a copy of our new issue, or pre-ordered a copy online through the site.

If you are in New York over the weekend, make sure to stop by Casa Magazines/Global News on the corner of 12th street and 8th Avenue in the West Village to get a copy of Made In Brazil #6. In Brazil, the issue is available at Livraria Cultura throughout the country, and we are currently working in adding more locations in Rio to make it easier for tourists coming to Brazil for the holidays to purchase copies.

And since I don’t write an editor’s letter in the magazine, I wanted to thank all the amazing photographers, stylists, producers, groomers, agents, and models involved in this issue. It is never easy to put a book with 176 pages of pictures together, especially when working with very limited budgets and difficult time frames, and yet everyone involved in this issue did it with great energy and love for this project, so thank you again.

When I started the magazine, I had never imagined we would be shooting a girl, but when the idea of working with Alessandra came up I thought “why not?”. Made In Brazil is supposed to be a creative outlet which allows us to try new things, and working with Alessandra on this project was an incredible experience (and I am sure the boys on the story would agree with me on that one). I also wanted this issue to have a good mix of just beautiful sexy pictures and fashion images, and for the first time I think there is a good balance of both on the pages of the magazine, ranging from the opening story with Rodrigo Calazans shot by Greg Vaughan featuring the spring/summer 2013 collections to a forty-six page tribute to Herb Ritts with Alessandra and the boys to twin brothers Luis and Lucas Coppini photographed by the beach in the north of São Paulo by Cristiano Madureira. There is a lot inside this issue which was not featured in the preview, and I really hope you are all going to like it. I am very proud of it, and thrilled that it is finally out.
